Many people enjoy their time at Japanese theme parks while wearing USJ character catsuits and hats.
Because of the group-oriented and cooperative nature unique to the Japanese, many people in Japanese culture find that doing the same things as everyone else increases their enjoyment.
Having the same items as friends and family makes it more enjoyable.
When I visited Disneyland in Paris, there were very few people wearing catsuits, which made me feel very sad as a Japanese person.
I would like everyone to experience what Japanese culture is like. I hope it will be an even more enjoyable time.
Best Attractions / Areas at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) 🌈
There are many attractions and areas with a mix for children and adults, my favourites that I would recommend to anyone visting are the following:
1. Hollywood Dream The Ride 🎢
A roller coaster that allows you to enjoy music at the same time at a high volume. The music and the motion of the ride are synchronized, making the roller coaster even more enjoyable.
In addition, the view of the park from the highest point is spectacular, especially at night, and I always ride it once during the day and once at night, as it offers a fantastic view along with the illumination.
In fact, there are two types of rides in this attraction. What a surprise, the other one goes backward. It has less of the floating feeling characteristic of roller coasters, but it offers a strange sensation that I have never felt before.
2. Harry Potter area 🤓
The area is a highly immersive recreation of the wizarding world.
Butterbeer, which Harry and his friends often drink, is available for sale, and it is popular to take pictures with the foam around your mouth on purpose. It is also extremely fun to taste the spooky taste of the hundred-flavor bean with family and friends.
The 4K 3D attraction in Hogwarts Castle allows visitors to fly with Harry on his adventures in the sky. The attraction also features sets from the movie and other effects, so visitors can enjoy the world of the movie while waiting for the ride.
The overwhelming quality of the finely crafted images and high resolution creates a sense of realism that is unlike any 3D attraction I have ever experienced before, and it is an attraction that will leave you both impressed and mystified as to how it was created.
3. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD 🍄
This is a realistic reproduction of Nintendo’s game world. In particular, the “Super Mario” series is designed to be enjoyed in the real world.
The design of the clay pipe at the entrance of Nintendo World immerses us in the world of the game.
Clever level design, realistic characters, and attractions that use cutting-edge technology draw visitors into the world of games.
For example, there are rides that allow visitors to experience “Mario Kart” and interactive elements such as actually collecting coins. Visitors will feel as if they are driving in the Mario Kart world themselves.
This area offers a magical experience for Nintendo fans, families and friends alike.
The world of Mario is there to keep us entertained while we wait in line.
4. The Flying Dinosaur 🦕
As the ride proceeds with passengers lying in a forward-facing position, you will experience the sensation of flying. Everyone will scream the moment the seat tilts after boarding.
The ride simulates the perspective of a dinosaur flying through the air, and includes high-speed thrills such as falling head first, upside-down loops, plunging, and spinning. You will be lost in translation as to what state we are in.
4. Jurassic Park The Ride 🦖
This attraction recreates the age of dinosaurs. Cute little dinosaurs and gentle herbivorous dinosaurs greet you, but the atmosphere suddenly changes and you are made to feel that an emergency has occurred.
I can’t tell you how many times I thought to myself, “I really want to get out of this place.”
The sense of dread created by the production is so great that it makes me wonder how long the ride will continue to climb. It is an attraction with excitement that keeps me coming back for more, even though it scares the crap out of me every time.
⚠️You will need a raincoat as you will almost certainly get wet after the ride.
5. Minion Park 💛
The area is filled with cuteness from the entrance. Inside the area, you can hear the Minions’ voices and see cute Minions everywhere, including photo spots.
The popular 3D attraction entertains us with Minion’s mischievous and humorous scenes just like in the movie. This is an area that will bring smiles to the faces of everyone, from children to adults.
6. Wonderland 👧
This is a popular theme area for families. The world of Sesame Street, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, and other characters are all here. There are many attractions with colorful and cute designs, such as Sesame Street’s little go-cart ride, floating on Snoopy’s back, and Kitty’s cupcake ride that spins around and around.
The Hello Kitty studio is also covered in pink wallpaper and flooring, and decorated with kitty motifs. At the end of the tour, you can have your picture taken with Hello Kitty, which will be a wonderful photo opportunity.
7. Space Fantasy The Ride 🚀
The ride is different from a regular roller coaster because the cars rotate freely 360 degrees while making sharp drops and sharp turns.
For a limited time only, visitors can enjoy the ride in collaboration with popular animations, along with 3D images. In the past, collaborations were done with Doraemon and demon slayer. This is a greedy attraction where you can enjoy scenes from your favorite anime and the roller coaster at the same time.
It is not too scary and has many enjoyable elements, so the whole family can enjoy it together.
Cute food 😋
Cute desserts and meals featuring the park’s characters can be enjoyed throughout the park. They may even soothe your tired body after a long wait.

Elmo’s food on the far right is teriyaki chicken flavor. There are others from various characters, and each character has a different flavor.
Snoopy is custard, Hello Kitty is cheese and pork, and Spiderman is Chinese.
